It's flea and tick season again here in Maine.  Please refrain from applying Frontline to your dog the night before or the morning of a school day at DWD.  This puts other dogs at risk of getting these harsh chemicals in their mouths during play and also interferes with proper saturation of the product on your dog, as dogs get wet here at DWD (wading pool) and roll around in the sand, etc. during the day.  THANK YOU!

OUR DAY:  The day has been tolerable, weather-wise.  We were able to be outside all morning, only coming down to the house at 11:45 so I could type this report!

Everyone’s having a great day so far, with lots of great play and only one incident so far.  Lola went for Bagel.  I was right there with the squirt bottle.  This just happened when my stepson came by.  Lola wanted him all to herself and so did Bagel.  Typical Bulldog antics.  I stopped it immediately.  It lasted just 4 seconds or so.  And...that’s IT!

Kai-Lyn has been quiet and pretty uninterested in play.  She seems like she’s just tolerating the day, waiting for it to be over.  She stands by the gate at times and sometimes hangs out on top of the play equipment or on a boulder so she can see the door better.

Other than that, everyone is loving being here today and there’s so much action and fun happening...in between bouts of quiet and watching birds and chasing squirrels who dare to climb on our fence.  A blissful day at DWD!

I know this report is brief, but the dogs want to be outside, not in, so I must supervise rather than type!
We’ll see you all a bit later for pick ups!
