It's flea and tick season again here in Maine. Please refrain from applying Frontline to your dog the night before or the morning of a school day at DWD. This puts other dogs at risk of getting these harsh chemicals in their mouths during play and also interferes with proper saturation of the product on your dog, as dogs get wet here at DWD (wading pool) and roll around in the sand, etc. during the day. THANK YOU!

The rain in Maine....is needed by the grass and flowers.
ATTENDANCE: Arlo, Cooper, Trudee, Bagel, Lucy BT, Brodie 1, Bailey LP, Tess, Anabelle, Addie, Kai-Lyn, Phoebe S, Phoebe D, Maisy, Tank, Emma, Benji, Charlie W, Sophie, Stella, Bailey TFT, Trixie, Finn and Lilly P.

OUR DAY: Wet and foggy and misty today so far. We are faring well anyway! Here we are...almost half way through our day already and no one has melted!!
We have a few Monday dogs joining us today to get their day in, since Monday was a holiday. Addie Schnauzer, Trudee Basset, Emma Dachshund, Sophie & Stella Malt/Peke, Lucy BT and Arlo Bichon are enjoying a day at DWD with a twist! And the Thursday Pack is enjoying the new energy!!
Some dogs clearly prefer NOT to be outside in the wet weather. Arlo is one of those. Kai-Lyn isn’t thrilled. Sophie & Stella hang in the lower yard hoping the door will open. But, for the most part, the pack is impervious to the rain and wet conditions. Sandbox fun is still happening in earnest!
Benji is loving having three small gals to chum around with today. Emma, Bailey TFT and Addie are including him in their fun and he seems to really like them! Yay!
Cooper and Phoebe D have been enjoying playing with each other as well as with Trudee.
Tank and Maisy are happy to have Trudee here today. Tank likes the gals! Arlo is thrilled to have Sophie and Stella to romp with! Bagel has been hanging with Trudee a lot and has been digging in the sandbox a bit, too!
Trixie and Bailey LP have been enjoying each other all morning. Kai-Lyn hangs with them a lot, as do Emma and Addie and Phoebe S. Phoebe S has led her classmates in a few chases this morning. She just loves to have everyone chase her around and around the yard.
Charlie and Brodie are both happy to have Lucy here today! Finn JRT also likes sharing Lucy’s big boulder with her. Sometimes, up to 4 dogs are up on that rock together! Phoebe D jumps up there with them as well....when she and Trudee aren’t wrestling!
Lilly and Trixie have been romping in the sandbox with the Westie brothers and Bailey LP this morning. Lilly has been barking a bit and isn’t really wanting to stop unless I am right there enforcing the request.
We’ve been inside more than the norm for us, due to the off/on showers. NOt sure whether I’ll be able to wear everyone out to suit you!! I’ll do my best...
